Membership Call
All members are schedule for a telemedicine appointment with Dr. Codrea that introduces you to the premier offerings that come with a Genesis Weight & Wellness membership. We will determine your goals of care and answer any questions you may have.

Intensive Medical Review
Dr. Codrea will conduct an intensive medical review of your health and weight history, labs, and medications.

All About You
Genesis Weight & Wellness wants to know and understand the whole person. We will go in depth about your stress, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and social habits.

Home Visit
You will be greeted in the privacy of your own home by Dr. Codrea for your initial in-person visit, scheduled at your convenience. In addition to a full physical exam, Dr. Codrea will collect important data such as blood pressure, EKG, vitals, body measurements, and conduct a body composition analysis with the professional InBody 380.

Telemedicine
The majority of your care will be conducted conveniently through telemedicine. A follow-up telemedicine visit will occur shortly after your home visit to review your body composition report, overall medical health, and personal recommendations.

Nutrition & Exercise
Your membership includes enrollment with an expert nutrition consultant and exercise coach. She will tailor nutrition and exercise plans to you, so each member has their own custom program.
Why is Phase One a 6 month commitment?
In short, losing weight in a meaningful (ie long-term) and healthy way takes time. We are here for your long-term weight health. Secondly, most studies done on weight loss with medications alone involve at least a 3 month trial, more often 6 months, to determine if the therapy was effective or not. Genesis Weight & Wellness is so much more than just medication. I take a whole-body, personalized approach that addresses the root causes of weight gain while supporting your journey every step of the way.
